Somebody searching for a Kenai River guide in February is also going to need a bed, a freezer, a shuttle and a shipping box. When those businesses are described in one place, in the same structured format, the whole trip becomes answerable — and every business in the answer benefits from being in it.
That is the community piece. The directory is free to browse, it points at the operators rather than at us, and it gets more useful the more of the local trade is in it.

I'm not a guide. Does this still fit?
Yes. Lodging, air taxis, processors, taxidermists, rental and retail are listed in their own categories. Visitors reach them through the same searches, and assistants answer 'where do I stay near the Kenai River' as often as 'who guides it'.
Do you take a booking fee on rooms?
No. We never touch a reservation or a payment. Inquiries go to you.
Can I be listed in more than one category?
Yes — a lodge that also runs boats belongs in both. One canonical page, cross-listed, so nothing is duplicated.
What do you need from me to build the page?
What you run, where, in what months, your credentials and licenses, your contact details, and a few photos. That's the intake — we write the rest and show it to you before it publishes.
